2. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the act of presenting the work of others as one's own, without proper attribution. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Copying verbatim text from another source without quotation marks and reference
• Paraphrasing the ideas or findings of another author without proper citation
• Failing to cite a source for borrowed data, tables, figures, or images
• Self-plagiarism, which is republishing one's own previously published work without permission or proper citation

3. Author Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to Research Journal are responsible for:

• Ensuring the originality of their work and that it has not been published elsewhere in whole or in part, or is not under consideration for publication in another journal.
• Properly citing all sources used in the manuscript, including published and unpublished material, data, and ideas.
• Following accepted referencing guidelines as specified by the journal.
• Disclosing any potential conflicts of interest.
