1. Introduction
Research Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. This policy outlines our expectations for originality and proper attribution in all submitted manuscripts.
2. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of presenting the work of others as one's own, without proper attribution. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying verbatim text from another source without quotation marks and reference
- Paraphrasing the ideas or findings of another author without proper citation
- Failing to cite a source for borrowed data, tables, figures, or images
- Self-plagiarism, which is republishing one's own previously published work without permission or proper citation
3. Author Responsibilities
Authors submitting manuscripts to Research Journal are responsible for:
- Ensuring the originality of their work and that it has not been published elsewhere in whole or in part, or is not under consideration for publication in another journal.
- Properly citing all sources used in the manuscript, including published and unpublished material, data, and ideas.
- Following accepted referencing guidelines as specified by the journal.
- Disclosing any potential conflicts of interest.
